Meet Kat, a passionate, dedicated accountant and tax preparer with over 21 years of experience in finance. Kat’s journey into accounting began in a unique way – with a math book from a thrift store! When husband Tyler noticed her love for numbers and solving math problems, he encouraged her to go back to college. After completing an accounting degree, an MBA, and adding the CFP® designation to her credentials, she and Tyler co-founded ACB with a shared mission of helping small business owners solve their problems and realize their dreams.
Kat has also recently completed her credentialing to become an Enrolled Agent, a federally authorized tax practioner, empowered by the U.S. Department of Treasury.
Kat’s love for accounting is fueled by her inner math geek. She enjoys playing with numbers and finding solutions to complex problems. Her clients appreciate her attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to their success. Kat is always looking for ways to improve and grow by adding new skills to her already impressive list of accomplishments.
Outside of work, Kat loves spending time with her family and working on whatever craft she’s into at the moment. She also serves as a proud Scoutmaster for the local girls’ Scout Troop.
